Yes, we can. Although it will be very difficult. The current society believes that the youth doesn't matter. They don't think our opinions matter. They don't think we should have a right to privacy. They don't think we should vote. To make a difference, we need to change this mentality.
Just like the women's rights activists and black right's activists changed the cultural mentality and gained their rights, we can gain ours. We have been oppressed for WAY too long. It is time for us to take a stand and demand equal rights! Yes, I said equal rights with those who are older than us.
In four years, we will have another election. My hope and goal is that the youth will be able to vote in that election. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. Are you?
